Mar 21, 2018 at 13:36 comment added ohwilleke FWIW, as a practical matter, I would complain to the insurance company and the doctor about that conduct, and maybe even the medical board if they didn't provide a satisfactory resolution of the situation and drop the charge for the test, and I would ask for a new GP in that situation. That behavior was grossly out of line.
