The more important than eliminating "public displays of rebellion" would be quashing displays of dissent. We are a nation of more than one mindset and I think it is very good thing. We had laws like this during WWI and people were punished for publishing truthful information about the pandemic of 1918 because it reduced trust in government. By the way, there was a lot of "not-my-president" when Obama held that job. | |
