For the driver: "A person who engages in unlawful conduct of a type likely to provoke others to attack him or her...cannot claim self defense". Driving without license doesn't provoke others to rob me.

Nov 14, 2021 at 17:12 comment added obfuscated So even rapist can claim self defense and murder all his attackers? That's one extreme. On another extreme someone driving without license can't claim self defense even if he is robbed because he is committing a crime while being attacked.
