For the driver: "A person who engages in unlawful conduct of a type likely to provoke others to attack him or her...cannot claim self defense". Driving without license doesn't provoke others to rob me. | |

On another extreme someone driving without license can't claim self defense even if he is robbed because he is committing a crime while being attacked. | |
