But if he has your back to you while shooting at people in front of him, attacking from behind is right and sensible. | |

These warnings often avoid any attempt to explain the moral basis for why that is. This appears to leave many people with the impression that there’s some kind of legal technicality about shooting someone in the back. Or maybe they get it from old movies? | |
