Hinting at (but not explicitly stating) the homeowner that it's free or has been paid and organized by a relative, but then demanding payment at the end. Or pretending it to be accidental, but in fact it was deliberate and then demanding payment. Sometimes with threat of violence if not paid. (I know of such cases of similar scams in my region) | |
