The question is brought about by the case, for which we got a document from India on the status of a company. The document was certified by a practising company secretary. The practising company secretary does not hold a corporate position within the company of our interest. Am I right to think that a title of a practising company sectretary gives one a right to authorise some documents as it would be done by a public notary?

For some reasons I cannot address this question to my colleguages.
