I'm located in some EU country.
I've bought (as in signed a contract over the internet) a product from a company located in Germany.
I've paid the product via bank transfer and got there to retrieve the product. Now the seller tells me they sent by mistake the ownership papers in my home country and that they cannot stop the parcel on its way (or reroute it). I cannot take the product out of the country due to missing papers.

One option is that i extend my stay in Germany and have the papers mailed back to me. The other option is go back to my home country and return with the papers.

Can i hold the seller accountable for the additional costs that i incur (hotel costs, transportation costs, mailing the papers) ? Which options do i really have ?
