This question already has an answer here:

At the leisure centre I work at I caught someone filming in a busy pool with a goPro. I have been wondering whether this was merely a despicable and insensitive act on their part, or a straight up breach of the law. I know of people in the US having been convicted over similar deeds but have no knowledge of what UK law has to say on the matter.

  • The pool will probably have terms prohibiting filming. So it's likely a breach of contract, not law (you are free to film on a public beach). – Greendrake Mar 4 at 8:31
