If a person has lost in small claims court in Quebec Canada and a bailiff has seized movable property what happens if at the sale the debtor fails to produce the property? Can the debtor be charged or be imprisoned?

  • If the bailiff has seized the property, the debtor no longer has it, so how can they fail to produce it? – Nij Dec 6 '19 at 23:39

In Quebec the debtor must take custody of the item until the sale @Nij – jack Dec 7 '19 at 0:09
